2007 - Taking a back route through the Blue Hills Reservation a few weeks back and I came across a chubby beaver scurrying across the road towards Houghton’s Pond. Curious about what the furry critter was up to I pulled over into the parking lot and saw the beaver swim across the pond towards a tuft of reeds. I pulled out my camera but the critter vanished under the water. I stayed for a while, camera at the ready, looking for some other victim of my amateurish photography. That day I found only a few pretty buds on trees. I have been going back after work for several weeks now and have found some rather nice images to capture.
